Lirac L'Instant Garrigue 2020 - Mas Isabelle
The Lirac L'Instant Garrigue is a red wine made from 70% Grenache grapes from 60-year-old vines and 30% Carignan grapes. The nose is that of a slightly sweet tea with a hint of summer hayloft. On the palate, lots of spiciness, some plum, bay leaf, kalamata olives and tannins. The Lirac L'Instant Garrigue is at its best when it gets quite a bit of air, making it beautifully soft. Drinking at 16-17 degrees is fine with a pasta or risotto with chorizo, a chilli con or sin carne, or a mushroom tart with lots of thyme and black pepper.
