Beaujolais Villages 2017 - Domaine du Clos du Fief
This Beaujolais-Villages is a top seller within the 'normal' red Beaujolais-family. The Gamay grapes are harvested from two parcels, called 'Les Roberts' and 'La Roche'. The vines are about 40 years old and stand on granite soil. All grapes for this Beaujolais-Villages are harvested manually and after fermentation raised in their safe cuvees. Brilliant red in colour and with beautiful red fruit and soft tannins, it is a beautiful harmonious wine. Serve nicely with charcuterie, fish and meat or vegetables from the grill and with mature soft cheeses. Of course, do not serve it too warm. At 14 degrees it tastes delicious.
