Mountagniero Côtes du Ventoux 2020 - Les Terrasses d'Eole
This powerful red wine listens to the firm name Mountagniero and is, in Provencal dialect, named after the wind that blows from the north. In general, the summer in this area is sunny and you can taste that in the glass. In this red wine you will find the taste of ripe cherries, the wild flora around and in the vineyards (also known as 'garrigue') and a hint of the cedar trees that grow on the nearby Mont Ventoux. All in all, the warm sunshine makes the 'Mountagniero' an elegant, full-bodied wine made from the Grenache, Syrah and Mourvédre grape varieties. The emphasis (65%) lies on the first grape variety. Serve at 16 to 18 degrees Celsius with almost any dish. From steak to pasta and from pizza to a meatball with green beans!
