Graves Rouge 2016-Château Les Clauzots
€14,00
Description
The Bordeaux Graves Rouge from Château les Clauzots is a beautiful fruit-filled wine made from 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The vines are on gravel and clay terraces from Saint Pierre de Mons. The grapes are traditionally vinified in stainless steel vats with cold maceration before fermentation and slow alcoholic fermentation. This wine is then aged in wooden barrels for 18 months on the skins and twigs. The Graves Rouge has a nose with blackcurrant, strawberry and raspberry on toast. On the palate, this is a fine fruity sip with soft tannins, spiciness and vanilla notes. Nicely accessible, especially if the wine gets a little air. Pour at 16 degrees with Mexican (bean) dishes, chicken with couscous, steaks or with Camembert and Gruyère.
