Morgon Cuvèe Joseph 2018 - Domaine Gaget

This Morgon Cuvèe Joseph is real red violence; a Beaujolais matured on oak. The result is impressive. A solid wine with 12 months of maturation in wood. When we tasted it straight from the barrels it was delicious and now in the bottle, the balance is beautiful. The hint of toast and a touch of vanilla come from the barrel aging, but that is nicely dosed and immediately beckons for a hearty piece of meat with a pepper or a nice piece of soft cheese.. Drink at 14 to 16 degrees maximum.
