Menetou-Salon Pommerais 2018 - Domaines Minchin

A red Menetou-Salon Pommerais made up of 100% manually harvested Pinot Noir grapes from a clay and slate soil. Well sorted and stripped of twigs and leaves, the fermentation of the grapes takes place in a controlled way. The final wine has a beautiful cherry color with purple tones. The nose is harmonious and expressive. Little rose and rosemary aromas alongside tobacco, blackcurrant, mocha and vanilla. In the mouth notes of candy red fruit, spiciness, an earthy mineral and a flint. Delicious with pâté, quiche Lorraine, meat fondue, a gratinated leek dish or a piece of cheese like Cantal or Comté. Serve between 15 and 18 degrees.
