Viognier les Bêtises 2018 - Domaine de Thulon
€21,50
Description
A wine from old vines of the Viognier grape this Viognier les Bêtises. An oddball Viognier in the Beaujolais is not common, but in this sweet version it is even more extravagant! It's also like a candy ... so Thulon's nonsense. And then also only harvested in October. Then you get a fuller concentration of flavours and an amount of extra sweetness in the wine. A nose with apricots, tropical fruit and a touch of bergamot. Round on the palate and candy-like. Serve this Viognier les Bêtises nicely at 10 degrees with grilled salmon with béarnaise sauce, apricot or pear tart, Indonesian cuisine or goat's cheese. Of course, the wine may also be drunk simply as an aperitif.
