Viognier les Bêtises 2018 - Domaine de Thulon
A wine from old vines of the Viognier grape this Viognier les Bêtises. An oddity in the Beaujolais and then also only harvested in October. Then you get a fuller concentration of flavors and an amount of extra sugariness in the wine. A nose with apricots, tropical fruit and a touch of bergamot. Round in the mouth and sweet. Serve nicely at 10 degrees with grilled salmon with béarnaise sauce, apricot or pear tart, Indonesian cuisine or goat cheeses. Of course, the wine can also just be drunk as an aperitif.
