Saumur Rouge 2018 - Château Fouquet
A fresh, round and supple red organic Saumur Rouge from Château Fouquet. Made biodynamically from 100% Cabernet Franc growing on the clay of the 30 year old field in Brézé. Fermentation for 15 days and aged on stainless steel. In the nose chocolate and vanilla. The taste is that of ripe berries and blackberries, vanilla tannin, hint of bay leaf, fennel and minerals. The Saumur Rouge pairs well with grilled vegetable dishes, pasta a la carbonara or rabbit with chanterelles. Serve at approximately 14 degrees.
