Saint-Èmilion Le Second 2018 - Château Lagrave
€15,00
Description
The Saint-Èmilion Le Second is a red wine for 90% made from Merlot grapes, for 8% from Cabernet Franc grapes and for 2% from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The grapes for this wine are, just like for its big brother the Grand Cru, well selected and the vinification takes place during one month in concrete barrels. Half of the maturation takes place in concrete barrels and the other half in French oak barrels. The Saint-Èmilion Le Second is dark purple with a nose of ripe red and black fruit with a hint of woody vanilla. The taste is supple black fruit with pepper, bay leaf and vanilla. Tastes good with lamb in all its forms, red meat, a farmers salad with cheese and nuts or with a piece of Pont l'Evêque or Cantal. Serve at 16-17 degrees and decanting helps open the wine.
Alcohol Content: 13%
