Règniè Signa 2020 - Domaine du Thulon

Purple-red sparkling, the Règniè Signa stands in the glass. Made from 100% Gamay grapes, which once vinified, mature for 9 months in a large Tuscan amphora. Only 820 bottles of this will be made. The nose gives soft ripe fruit like raspberry and banana. On the palate, minerals and a pint of clayiness from the amphora are added. Pepper and good tannins complete the picture of this special Règniè Signa. This Cru de Beaujolais is excellent to drink at 15-16 degrees with grilled lamb or pork with cheese au gratin, pasta with chanterelles or quiche with Provençal spiced vegetables. Just sipping is also fine!
