Chardonnay Montmija 2022 – Domaine Auriol

The grapes for this organic Chardonnay Montmija come from two fields. One in the hot Costiéres de Nimes and one on the steep hills of the Minervois. The quantity of grapes is limited by considerable interim pruning and before pressing the grapes are largely destemmed. The resulting Chardonnay Montmija is light yellow in color with a fine bouquet of juicy white fruit with a hint of honey. In the mouth you taste pear and peach aromas with a full finish. Delicious as a cool aperitif to serve and ideal with fish and other sea food. Serve at 11 degrees Celsius.
