Meursault Vieilles Vignes 2021 - Dupont-Fahn
The Meursault Vieilles Vignes comes from a small field Chardonnay grapes that was planted in 1929. Because of its age, "the wisdom of the vine" has entered the wine through the grapes. This now gives the wine a great intensity and ripeness and you can taste that. Besides the flavours of exotic fruit, there is also a hint of honey and butter and a lingering aftertaste. This Meursault Vieilles Vignes is delicious with a delicate piece of fish with creamy sauce or a sauce with butter. Also with poached oysters or raw ham, with tomatoes with mozzarella or asparagus. Serve between 14 and 16 degrees.
