Menetou-Salon Morogues 2018 Domaine Minchin

The Sauvignon grapes for this Menetou-Salon from the village of Morogues ferment after harvest in temperature-controlled stainless steel. The white wine rest with the skins and twigs. After ageing, a golden-green wine emerges with a beautiful complex fruity nose. Nice scent of citrus and grapefruit that also returns in the taste. Mineral notes, fennel and a refined liquorice in the background. Goes wonderfully with oysters, avocado with crab, goat's cheese or a vegetable quiche. Drink at 10-12 degrees for optimal taste.
