Mâcon Chardonnay Champ Saint Pierre 2020 -Domaine Gérald Talmard

This Mâcon-Village Chardonnay Champ Saint Pierre comes from the Chardonnay-grapes from vines planted between 1935 and 1945. The grapes give a beautiful golden yellow wine with deep aromas. The palate is intense and silky, rich in fruit, a little jam, pithy grapefruit and a fine butteriness. A nice long finish completes the party. Lovely to drink as an aperitif at say 12 degrees. On the table may also accompany a little creamy or buttery fish dish.
