Gewurztraminer Sauvage 2019 - Maison Joseph Cattin
Domaine Cattin's Gewurztraminer Sauvage is made from hand-harvested grapes grown on an organic and vegan basis. After a controlled pressing, it is fermented under refrigerated conditions on stainless steel tanks. And that for a month or two. What emerges is a double golden wine with a nose of super exotic fruit and flowers. Delicate lychees, mango, piets herbs and licorice and a rose. Full of aromas. The Gewurztraminer Sauvage tastes delicious with Munster cheese or blue cheese, with dishes with a spicy, Asian background, can handle ginger, chili and curry. Beautiful also with a well seasoned Chili con, or sin, carne. Serving temperature is 8 to 10 degrees.
