Côtes de Provence Blanc Amandiers 2018 - Domaine Le Bercail
A delicious organic white Côtes de Provence Blanc Amandiers made from the Rolle and Semillon grape varieties in a 50-50 ratio. The grapes grow on a south-facing vineyard with once silted sand and clay. They are harvested by hand and fermented at low temperature after a short contact with the skin. Aging follows in French oak until bottling on domain of the total 3300 bottles. A beautiful golden yellow wine, Côtes de Provence Blanc Amandiers, is the result. Nose with a touch of butter, a nut and a hint of orange. Soft and silky on the palate with caramelized fruit, a fresh salty flint and an almond bite. Flinty finish to conclude. Serve at 10 to 12 degrees with a gourmet lobster dish, a fish brochette, pasta pistou, white meat or a fine goat cheese.
