Chènas Les Grands Gandelins 2019
The Chènas Les Grands Gandelins is made from the grape variety Gamay. The grapes grow on sandy soil and pink granite, giving a very nice light red wine in terms of colour. In the nose, we smell cherry, strawberry and a hint of currants and banana. On the palate, ripe blackcurrants and blackberries, the subtle sweetness of bread with jam and a hint of ink. The Chènas Les Grands Gandelins is soft and if you serve it at 16-17 degrees it will love pasta with mince sauce, dishes with carrot and haricots verts, a Queen's pie or a Tartiflette Reblochon.
