Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 - Dupont-Fahn
€14,00
Description
Originally, the Cabernet Sauvignon was 'the blue grape of Bordeaux'. Especially in the Mèdoc. There, it is capable of delivering absolute top wines. It is not for nothing that this quality grape is in the Languedoc planted. It adapts easily and produces well-balanced wines. These grapes are also picked and sorted by hand. After fermentation, they receive a light wood maturation to complete the process. Because the Cabernet Sauvignon grape has a rather thick skin, the wine not only contains a lot of colour, but generally also quite a lot of tannin. At Dupont-Fahn, this grape is harvested late and very ripe, so the tannin is less explicit. Taste the black berries and don't be surprised by the hint of cedar and chocolate! A nice firm wine that goes well with full, firm meat dishes, stewed or not, with or without nice sauces. Also very tasty with hard cheeses such as matured to extra matured Gouda. Serving at 14 to 16 degrees is fine.
