Cabernet Franc Ciceron Vignes Rares 2019 - Château Cicèron
€10,25
Description
The Cabernet Franc Ciceron Vignes Rares is a red wine and is, of course, made from the Cabernet Franc grape. A grape which is cultivated in France, especially in certain Loire regions and in the Bordeaux area. Wines made from 100% Cabernet Franc can be a bit 'severe and hard' in taste and not very accessible. But not this wine! On the contrary! Claude Vialade handpicks the grapes from this southern region of the Corbières, ferments them and matures some 9 months in oak barrels. The result is a full wine with deep black fruit, bay leaf, clove and pepper, licorice and griot and a mini apple in the aftertaste. Goes great with smoked or grilled meat, with candied tomatoes, with things with mushrooms and soft cheeses. Serve at 17 degrees.
