Valençay Le Claux Delorme Rouge 2018 - Domaines Minchin
The Valençay Rouge by Domaine La Tour de Saint-Martin is a special wine made from four grape varieties, namely Gamay (45%), Côt (35%) and Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir (each 10%). The grapes are handpicked, sorted and fermented after pressing in a cool place. A beautiful frisky red wine is the result. A strawberry-jammy nose and on the palate lots of ripe red fruit like blackberries, cherries and blackcurrants with a mineral touch and some mocha. This Valençay Rouge combines very well with pork dishes or a Valençay cheese. The combination with a nice plate of charcuterie or an exotic dish is also very OK. Serve at 15-16 degrees.
