Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil 'Damoiselle' 2020 - Domaine de la Cabernelle

The Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil 'Damoiselle' comes from the AOC of the same name. An organic wine made from Cabernet Franc grapes whose vines are on sandy soil. The Damoiselle is purple-red in the glass with a nice spicy nose. In the mouth black fruit, slightly earthy, soft peppers and tannins with a little bay leaf. Supple and fruity wine that goes with grilled meat, gyros, pilaf rice with or without chicken and soft cheeses like Brie and Camembert. Serve at about 15 degrees.
