Pépin d'Escurac Mèdoc 2016 - Château d'Escurac
Pépin d'Escurac Mèdoc is a second wine from the Escurac estate. Pépin de Belleville was the name of a squire, heir to the Escurac estate. After buying out the shares of his fellow heirs in 1740, he became the owner of the entire fiefdom and lord of the Escurac parish. In 1934, the Landureau family fell in love with this charming property with a rich history. The wine is made from the grapes: 53% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc.
The Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon pair perfectly with grilled meats, stews and cheese. There is no need to keep this wine in the cellar for years. We have already done that for you. The wine is already drinking beautifully. The Pépin d'Escurac Mèdoc is a charming wine, with an attractive bouquet of fresh black fruit. Soft on the palate, it can be enjoyed now.
