Pauillac 2016 - Domaine De Saint Guirons
€31,50
Description
The grapes of the Pauillac of Domaine de Saint-Guirons are a selection from the grapes of the vineyard of Puy-Lacoste which comprises 35 hectares of vineyard with vines of 30 years old as an average. The composition for this wine is Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Harvested and vinified separately. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maturation partly on stainless steel and partly on old oak barrels. The wine is bright ruby red. Nose of ripe strawberries and cherries. In the mouth full, jammy and almost creamy, red and black fruits, mild bay leaf, fine tannins and a touch of leather and chocolate. And of course a hint of the Pauillac signature cigar box aroma. Delicious at original room temperature (18 degrees) and with many Asian-style dishes like curry, goulash or risotto with mushrooms. But also with cheeses like Saint-Nectaire or Epoisses.
