VdP du Ventoux Manjo Fango 2018 - Domaine Les Terrasses d'Eole

A red Vin de Pays Manjo Fango is never an ordinary Vin de Pays when made by Stéphane Saurel. From relatively young vines comes this blend of Grenache (65%), Marselan (20%) and Mourvèdre (20%). Ruby red wine with beautiful aromas of red fruit and a hint of liquorice. Nicely rounded in the mouth, it tastes like a candy with grilled meat and, for example, grilled zucchini or eggplant. Although it is not a storage wine, it can easily lie for a few years.... The name? Manjo Fango' is the Provençal name for the wind that makes the mud dry... Just so you know. Serve at 14 to 16 degrees. The wineboer himself drinks it (in summer) straight from the fridge!
