Le Bistro Rouge Montmija - Domaine Auriol
Organic and vegan, Le Bistro Rouge is made from Merlot and Carignan grapes from the area between Narbonne and Montpellier. Harvesting is done at night to avoid the heat of the day. Fermentation with temperature control keeps the red fruit in the taste. The result is a beautiful purple-red wine with an inviting fruity strawberry nose. On the palate we encounter that almost overripe red fruit like blackberries, earthy, nice and full and a little laurel licorice and spice. The le Bistro Rouge goes very well on the terrace or on the couch with Netflix, with barbecued vegetables and/or meat, with charcuterie and cheeses in French slices or Dutch cubes. On the table at a maximum of 16 degrees.
