Gigondas Cuvèe les Pigiéres 2018 - Domaine Font Sarade

A compesè of the Grenache grape for warmth and power while the Syrah gives the Gigondas Cuvèe les Pigiéres colour and durability plus a little Mouvédre Deep dark red, ripe fruit and a touch of liquorice on the palate. Bernard and Claire Burle are a couple (father and daughter) who produce quality and not quantity. In the appellation Gigondas a yield of 35 hl/ha is allowed. Allowed and not seldom it is at 30 or lower! The wine is a charmer and very friendly. Can be kept for at least 5 to 8 years. Excellent with red meat, game and Dutch mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16 to 18 degrees maximum.
