The Domaine de la Cabernelle is new to WijnDijck's collection. It's all Cabernet Franc that rings the bell, and the five wines from the Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil and Bourgueil AOCs are all hearty reds! The estate is located near the town of Benais. The Caslot Pontonnier family (Claudia, Franck and Bertrand) live and work here in the area where their vineyards are located. They work completely organically and manage to turn the sometimes somewhat stubborn Cabernet Franc grapes into extremely tasty, fruity and accessible wines!
