Crèmant de Bourgogne Impèriale - Domaine Loron
This Crèmant de Bourgogne Impèriale is an canker, made from 100% Chardonnay and sourced from very old vines. After the first fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 3 months and then kept in bottle for a second fermentation for 18 months. The bottles are then drained of their sediment and finally corked with the famous champagne cork and iron wires. Once poured into the glass, the wine smells of fruit, flowers and toast and butter. In the taste, the rich, full style with nice citrus and soft fruits is immediately apparent. The wine also has a blissful spicy finish. Delicious to enjoy this Crèmant de Bourgogne Impèriale as an aperitif with good friends. But also with salmon and toast, this wine is certainly not a punishment!
