Côtes du Vivarais Rouge 2017 - Domaine du Pére Lèon

Fine fire-red Côtes du Vivarais Rouge from the Syrah (60%) and Grenache Noir(40%) grape varieties. Taste and smell: A hint of overripe melon, mint liquorice, bay leaf, nicely spicy with some ink and a soft bitterness. Good companion to grilled pork, pâté campagne, ravioli with tomato, curry with lentils, gratinated vegetables or a piece of Cantal cheese.
