Côtes du Rhône Plan de Dieu Cuvèe Egoïste 2020 - Domaine Font Sarade

A Côtes du Rhône Plan de Dieu of the better kind. Beautifully full and round as a result of a mix of 70% Grenache and 30% Mouvédre grapes. These grapes grow on a soil of clay and limestone. The surface is littered with boulders and these give off the heat they collect during the day to their surroundings at night. The grapes are picked by hand and the complete bunches, with the stems and the seeds, ferment for 15 days in inox. A straightforward wine that you would like to drink every day. The spice in the taste combines with the nose of black berries and raspberries and a long aftertaste. Great with grilled meat or poultry and cheeses. Drink lightly chilled at about 12 to 14 degrees.
