Côte du Rhône Blanc 2019 - Domaine Saint Pierre

Domaine Saint-Pierre's Côtes du Rhône Blanc is a lush white wine made from a blend of four grape varieties; the Grenache, the Clairette, the Roussanne and the Marsanne. The grapes grow on calcareous and gravelly clay soil that imparts much minerality to the grapes. Golden yellow wine with a floral and fruity nose and on the palate notes of ripe apple, apricot, peach, grapefruit, honey and a tiny bit of eucalyptus. Quite violent and the Côtes du Rhône Blanc is a beautiful food wine that does very well with a Thai curry with chicken or vegetarian, a salad, a dish with seafood or with a goat cheese. Do not serve too cold. About 12 degrees is fine.
