Côte de Brouilly 2017 - Domaine Lapalu
€21,50
Description
The Côte de Brouilly is in fact just one hill that used to be, once but now dead, a volcano. The granite and schist where the grapes take root contain lava and that gives a delicious minerality to the wine. A nice mix of red fruit, flint and spiciness. Long and juicy in taste and in balance. Tones of blueberries and above all impressive blackcurrants. Further beautiful accents of candied cirrus peel and a touch of musk and narcissus. The wine is raised on wooden barrels and that gives a hint of toast and vanilla. Serve at a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius with meat dishes or for example with ragout of rabbit.
