Corbiéres Les Terrasses du Domaine 2014 - Domaine Plo des Vents

The grapevines for the Corbiéres Les Terrasses: the 40 year old Grenache and 60 year old Carignan grow here in a biodynamic way on the north side of the 'Montagne Noire'. Since 1950 the Ligneres family takes care of the grapes and makes the wine. The current generation -Geneviève, Paul and Jean Ligneres- all three graduated in medicine and that's where the preference for pure produced wines comes from. Complete manual harvesting and sorting of the most beautiful bunches of grapes precede a fermentation of almost four weeks. Demeter quality mark on the bottle! The Corbiéres Les Terrasses is dark purple red and has a complex nose of black berries, blackberries and peppers. An intense taste with beautiful tannins and fine spiciness makes it complete. Delicious at 16 degrees drinking with cold meats, smoked bird meat, lamb or a beautiful gratinated vegetable dish.
