Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 - Domaine Dupont-Fahn
€13,00
Description
Originally, the Cabernet Sauvignon is 'the blue grape of Bordeaux'. Especially in the Mèdoc. There he is capable of delivering absolute top wines. It is not for nothing that this quality grape is planted in the Languedoc. It adapts easily and produces well-balanced wines. These grapes are also picked and sorted manually. After fermentation, they are given a light wood maturation to finish the process. Because the Cabernet Sauvignon grape has a rather thick skin, the wine not only has a lot of color, but in general also quite a lot of tannins. At Dupont-Fahn this grape is harvested late and very ripe so the tannins are less explicit. Taste the black berries and don't be surprised by the hint of cedar and chocolate! A nice firm wine that goes well with full, firm meat dishes, stewed or not, with or without nice sauces. Also delicious with hard cheeses such as matured to extra matured Gouda. Serve at 14 to 16 degrees is fine.
