Bourgueil 'Reflets de mèmoire' 2018 - Domaine de la Cabernelle

The Bourgueil 'Reflets de mèmoire' is a wine made from Cabernet Franc grapes sourced from vines about 50 years old. Organically grown on the clay limestone hill of Benais. Ruby red in the glass. Spicy nose with fruity blackberries. On the palate blackcurrant and blackberry, pepper, vanilla and bay leaf. Nicely harmonious with power and a long finish. The 'Reflets de mèmoire' tastes delicious with pasta carbonara, omelets with chorizo, a vegetable quiche or a cheese like Livarot. Serve just below 16 degrees.
