Domaine Melody, located in the northern Rhone valley, is a 20-hectare estate in Crozes-Hermitage. Since 2010, Marc Romak and Marlène Durand have joined forces to make Domaine Melody a successful wine domain. They manage vineyards on three different sites in the area and that includes, for example, vines that have been there since 1945. The winemakers employ modern organic techniques to make elegant, fruity and structured wines. Finesse is the magic word. The estate is located in the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation in the northern Rhône Valley. The red grapes are called Syrah and the white grapes are called Roussanne and Marsanne. The soil is diverse. The vineyard is divided between the three terroirs: the stony terraces in the north, the white clay soil near Château de Larnage and high terraces with pebbles just along the Rhone.
Marc and Marlène work organically. They mechanically weed the fields and promote biodiversity. The vineyards will be fully BIO certified from 2021.
