Domaine Melody is a 20 hectare estate in the Crozes-Hermitage region. Since 2010 Marc Romak and Marlène Durand have joined forces to make Domaine Melody into a successful wine domain. They manage vineyards at three different sites in the area, including vines that have been there since 1945. The winemakers use modern biological techniques to make elegant, fruity and structured wines. Finesse is the magic word. The domain is situated in the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation in the northern Rhône valley. The red grapes are called Syrah and the white grapes are called Roussanne and Marsanne. The soil is diverse. The vineyard is spread over the three terroirs: the stony terraces in the north, the white clay soil at Château de Larnage and high terraces with pebbles just along the Rhone.
Marc and Marlène work organically. They weed the fields mechanically and promote biodiversity. The vineyards will be fully certified from 2021 onwards.
