Domaine de la Noblaie is a still relatively young wine region in the Loire region.... Only from 1765 (!) is it recorded that grapes for wine-making came from these fields. Lots of limestone and tuff characterise this area. Ideal area for the Cabernet Franc and the Chenin grape, which feel like a fish in the Loire here. The Chinon wines are made with care and passion by winemakers Jèrôme Billard and Élodie Peyrussie. They work on quality organic wines at the 26-hectare estate.
