The Domaine Gérald Talmard is run by the Talmard family who have been growing grapes and making wine since the 1600s. In 1975, the grapes were no longer sold to the cooperative but Philibert Talmard started making his own wine. His son Gèrald Talmard took over his father's vineyard in 2010 and now works the 30 hectares of vines between the towns of Uchizy and Chardonnay, in Burgundy, more precisely in Mâcon. Gèrald works with passion and respect for nature and the environment to produce a fine quality of soft and fruity white wines from, how could it be otherwise, the Chardonnay grape.
