Domaine Gèrald Talmard, Uchizy, Mâcon
The estate is run by the Talmard family who have been growing grapes and making wine since the 1600s. In 1975 the grapes were no longer sold to the cooperative but Philibert Talmard started making his own wine. His son Gèrald Talmard took over the vineyards from his father in 2010 and now works a total of 30 hectares of vineyards between the towns of Uchizy and Chardonnay, in Burgundy and to be more exact in Mâcon. Gèrald works with passion and respect for nature and the environment to produce a beautiful quality of soft and fruity white wines from, how could it be otherwise, the Chardonnay grape.
