There are over 16 hectares of vineyards around the Domaine de Thulon. The estate was bought in 1987 by the Jambon family and has the appearance of a small castle complete with turrets and high walls. The domain is now run as a real family business. Father Renè, mother Annie, daughter Carine and son Laurent Jambon divide the tasks and make a number of beautiful Beaujolais-Villages from the Gamay grapes, including a beautiful Cru; the Régniè. The grapes grow on some 'rough' slopes where machines can't do much. So a lot of hand work has to be done. That's a good thing because it promotes a good feeling for nature and the environment, and this can be tasted in the authentic products of Domaine de Thulon.
