This Château Moulin Eyquem estate, which was owned by the Marquis de Marcillac, is one of the oldest wineries in the Côtes de Bourg. The mill that stands on the estate dates back to 1597 and is listed as one of the oldest mills in France.
The vineyard in one piece extends over an area of 20 hectares both on the plateaus and on the terraces that slope south and south-east towards the Dordogne. An amazing vantage point over Bordeaux and its agglomeration, as well as over the Médoc that faces it, offers visitors a grandiose spectacle.
Château Moulin Eyquem is privileged by its exceptional location, but also by the nature of its clay-gravel or clay-limestone soil. The property was acquired by the Mostermans family in 1998.
